The Bronze Alloy 941 Advantage

This is a bronze alloy characterized by a lead content of up to 30 percent. The high lead amount results in superior embeddability and anti-seize properties, especially when there’s an interruption or breakdown of lubrication. Also called Highly Leaded Bronze or C94100 Bronze, it can also tolerate the ingress of dirt and foreign bodies that otherwise may damage shafts or mating parts. Additional benefits of this material include:

  • Excellent Bearing Qualities
  • Malleable
  • Good Corrosion Resistance
  • Strong
  • Ductile
  • Easily Machinable
  • Strong Wear Resistance
  • Excellent Antifriction Qualities
